Ethiopia names 22 players for Nigerian Encounter

Addis Ababa – The Ethiopian Football Federation (EFF) has named 22 players for the national team’s encounter with Nigeria in Group B of the African Nations Cup qualifier here on June 5, reported EthioFootball.com.

St. George has 5 players selected followed by Defence Force (4), Dedebit FC (3), Ethiopian Coffee (2), Hawassa City (2), Sebeta City (2) and others with one players each.

Goalkeepers:

Zerihun Tadesse (St. George), Yidnekatchew Kidane (Defence Force) and Jemal Tassew (Dedebit FC)

Defenders:

Alula Girma (St. George), Abebaw Butako (St. George), Sisay Demissie (Ethiopian Coffee), Berhanu Bogale (Dedebit FC), Mengistu Assefa (Dedebit FC), Aynalem Hailu (Defence Force), Zenebe Kebede (Hawassa City) and Biadgelegn Elias (Sidama Coffee).

Midfielders:

Yared Zenabu (St. George), Menyahel Teshome (Ethiopian Coffee), Shimeles Bekele (Hawassa City), Asrat Megersa (EEPCO), Tesfaye Alebachew (Sebeta City) and Mesfin Ahmed (CBE).

Forwards:

Adane Girma (St. George), Oumed Oukri (Defence Force), Chala Driba (Defence Force), Biniam Assefa (Sebeta City) and Gebre-Michael Yacob (Sidama Coffee).
